What is the BIG SIN of the modern day worship movement?

What are YOUR thoughts?  Agree or disagree?  Is there anything we can do about it…or are we stuck, because it’s what the audience expects?

  1. Amen. Lord forgive us and help us. Worshipping the created rather than the Creator…but claiming to worship God is the big sin. It’s a slap in Go’d face

  2. the “biggest” sin I see is the teams are worshiping the people and the people in the pews are worshiping the platform…strong words but it comes from looking for a “response” from worship teams they watch and look for the people to respond to their worship but the problem is they set their heart there when they do it – quick fix? ask the Lord what does He think about your worship! Does He enjoy it? ask Him how He wants to be worshiped? loving God the way He wants to be loved 🙂 ditto to the pews!

  3. I’m not sure if I agree. While I see your point and repent if that has been my mentality, beauty is in the I of the beholder because I thing of some of the worship bands I listen to and I don’t find some of them attractive. While I don’t think Pastors/Churches are hiring/appointing “hot” looking worship leader and Worship Pastors I think a heart surrendered to God is the most beautiful thing in the world and I think that’s what makes these Worship Leader/Worship Pastors/Worship Artists “attractive”
